21 Days and Keto: Turning a Habit into a Lifestyle

Hello everyone! It’s been such a long time since my last post…life has literally slipped away from me. We’re in the midst of summer and I feel like yesterday it was Spring. Where did the time go? 

I promise I am going to spend more time here writing, sharing with all of you. I wanted to start this post about a new journey I have been embarking on that is actually a pretty familiar concept right now. 3 weeks ago I decided to attempt the Keto Diet. I’m writing this on the actual 21st day of this journey, and I did so in order to hold myself accountable. The saying goes it takes 21 days to make a habit, and I felt that if I made it through the first week, I could do a second. And if I made it through a second week, I could do a third. And…if I did a third week, it would become a habit. 

Here I am!  Day 21 and I can honestly say I don’t even know where to start! But I am going to try…I want to share my honest ups and downs of starting this lifestyle change (that’s what I’m calling it to convince myself I’m not starting some other fad diet). But, I’m going to post about it one week at a time.

I’m going to break it up as best as possible and separate my posts by weeks.  I don’t want to leave out any details or huge breakthroughs I discovered by trying to cram all my opinions on the first 3 weeks into one post.
